Tarim Uyghur Restaurant offers an unique experience of Uyghur food infused with Chinese flavours. All foods are home-made with love and care, without compromising the great taste. Foods range from hand-made noodles to home-made pastry wraps, and stir-fries that go from dry to gravy, meat to vegetable. Our chef prepares authentic food made from the best and freshest ingredients.
We carry a great selection of Vegetarian Dishes. All of our menu is Halal.

Uyghur people
Uyghurs are a Turkic ethnic group, living in Eastern and Central Asia. Today, Uyghurs live primarily in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in the People’s Republic of China (referred to by most of them as East Turkestan), where they are officially recognized as one of the 56 ethnic minorities. Outside China, most Uyghur diaspora communities exist in Central Asian countries, such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as, in the western countries, such as Germany and US. There are about 3,000 Uyghurs living in Australia today.
